The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of an urban block of flats built in 1976 in the area of Kato Toumpa in Thessaloniki. It is a quiet – mostly residential – district close to many shops and caffes.
The design of the renovation was based on the modern needs of a family home. The total area of the apartment is 85 sq.m. and includes an open plan living and dining area facing a large balcony on Tenedou Street, a separate kitchen with its own balcony, a bathroom and two bedrooms with access to a balcony.
Renovation work included the energy upgrade of the space. All the openings were replaced with new thermal break windows, energy glazing and new electrical and plumbing installations.
